The purpose of these By-laws is to briefly describe how the church as an organization functions and to outline the scope of the various leadership positions of the church.  It is not intended to be a detailed manual on every function of every position.  Additional details for committee or individual functioning may be found in the Procedural Manual.

The Hillendale Baptist Church shall affiliate with the Potomac Baptist Association, the Baptist General Association of Virginia, and the Southern Baptist Convention, and shall cooperate with their institutions and agencies.
